Bambird Scramble
A summer Mahjong League with ladder style play. The scramble is for adult men and women of all abilities in the Hamptons— specifically in Quogue, East Quogue, Hampton Bays, Westhampton, and Southampton. Register for the full 5-week series or drop in for a single week of play.
What is it?
We are so excited to offer our Mahj community a league that provides the opportunity for you to have a standing mahjong game, sharpen your skills, improve your confidence and strategy, and make new Mahj friends in the process. Enjoy flexibility to set your own match schedule.
Players propose matches on a specific date, time and location of their choice.
Other players can accept any matches they choose to.

Scramblers will self-rank as Pretties (newer players) or Fiereces (experienced players).

Play as often as you want, whenever best suits you, and wherever you find convenient!

Ladder position and ranking will change weekly depending on matches played.

The Summer Ladder is an 5 week Ladder competition, July 7th - August 10th. Register for the full 5-week series or drop in for a single week if you're only in the Hamptons for a shorter stay.

At the end of the season,
the top Scrambler will WIN a cash prize.​​
SUMMER BAMBIRD SCRAMBLE 2025
The Summer Bambird Scramble will be 5 weeks long. Starting the week of July 7th and ending the week of August 4th. Register for the full 5-week series or drop in for a single week if you're only in the Hamptons for a shorter stay.
Play will open Monday, July 7th and Scramblers are able to play their final matches until Sunday, Aug. 10th.

Late registration after July 6th will incur a $5 late fee.
