Charlotte Scramble Score Submission

Scramblers MAY SUBMIT a MAX of 2 Match Scores from play each week (your 2 best scores from Monday-Sunday). Scramblers MAY play as MANY matches as they want each week but they can only submit their 2 best match scorecards. Submit scores NO LATER than Sunday by 11:59pm. Each Scrambler can submit up to two 75-point scores (think of them as 'freebies') over the 8-week season. So, you can still only submit 16 scores total but 2 of them can be 75 points with no scorecard attached. You're welcome!! Use these high-score submissions if you’re traveling, can't make a match, or simply had an off week of low scores. These 'freebie' scores can be used in different weeks—they don't have to be used at the same week. Every Scrambler should keep score on their own scorecards at each match. Scramblers will need to attach their scre cards (photo of scorecard).  ​

Winner Draws Tile (from the wall) for Mahjong (rather than calling)

for mahjong: +10 to score

NO Joker Hand: +20 to score

Exception is no bonus points given if the hand is listed under the Singles/Pairs section.

Wall Game: +10 points to each player’s score

Forfeited Matches:​​

• The Scrambler, who no shows or cancels within a 24 hour window of a game, will not be penalized for the first "No Show/Late cancellation. The 3 other Scramblers will each receive 25 points. The Scrambler who cancels/forfiets must notify both the players and us directly—the portal does not auto-notify anyone.

  • If a second No Show/Late Cancellation occurs the Scrambler no-showing will receive -10 points. The 3 other Scramblers will each receive 25 points. The Scrambler who cancels/forfiets must notify both the players and us directly—the portal does not auto-notify anyone.

• Scramblers, who propose/challenge others, will receive Win Points (in addition to game score points) for each match played

Bonus Points:

Scramblers, who propose/challenge others, will receive 7 win points

(in addition to game score points) for each match played. The match must be played for the points to be awarded.
