Philanthropy
We choose to play Mahjong for many reasons. We love this brain-game, we love playing to win, and playing with friends. We also believe if we can Mahj For A Cause then we should!
Currently we partner to support the Cooper Royal Foundation and the Alzheimer's Association. Check out the events below. We hope you'll join us and Mahj for a cause!

The Cooper Royal Foundation's Annual Mahj-A-Thon
The Cooper Royal Foundation’s Annual Mahj-A-Thon is the first and leading Mahjong charitable event in the Carolinas, now heading into its 4th year. It’s not a formal tournament — it’s a fun, social night out where Mahjong lovers gather to celebrate, connect, and support a cause that matters. Think laughter, friends, community prizes, and the joy of play — all while raising awareness for families with special needs.
The Alzheimer’s Association Longest Day
The Longest Day is the Alzheimer’s Association’s annual fundraiser, held on the summer solstice — the day with the most light — to shine hope into the darkness of Alzheimer’s and dementia. In Charlotte, we’ll celebrate with a day full of Tennis, Pickleball, and Mahjong at the Charlotte Country Club, raising funds and awareness in support of research, care, and prevention.
