What is it? 

The Scramble is our flexible, community-driven Mahjong league designed

to give you a standing reason to play, grow your skills, boost your confidence,

& meet new Mahj friends along the way.

It brings the old-fashioned spirit of gathering around a table into a modern,

choose-your-own-schedule format.

With our custom Scramble software, players can propose matches

on any date, time, and location they choose—whether that’s at home,

a favorite coffee shop or wine bar, a community space,

or a local club that welcomes game play.

Other players can browse open matches and accept any that work for them.

How it works: 

All levels welcome:

You’ll self-rank as Beginner or Advanced —

there’s a spot for everyone.

Play on your schedule:

Use our custom Scramble software to propose matches anytime, anywhere.

You choose the date, time, and location.

Choose your match:

Other players can accept any open match they’d like to play in.

Play as often as you’d like — there’s no weekly minimum or maximum.

Your best scores count:

Each week, your top two scores are counted toward your season standings.

To ensure a great Scramble experience for everyone, we require a minimum of 24 registered players for each season. With fewer than 24 participants, there simply aren’t enough matches to make the league enjoyable, competitive, and worth the commitment. If we do not reach the minimum, we will refund all registrants in full and try again the following season. This helps protect the experience for all players and keeps each Scramble fun, social, and engaging.
